How to Create an Image Ad

Image ads are static or animated visual creatives (PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF, SVG) designed to drive user engagement and click-through traffic to your landing pages.

You can create an Image Ad by going to WordPress Admin > AdFuz > Ads and clicking + Add New Ad.

The ad creator features a side-by-side layout:

  • Left Panel (Live Preview): Renders a real-time live preview of your uploaded graphic, title, and CTA link as you type.
  • Right Panel (Configuration Form): Input fields and display options for the creative.

Step-by-Step Configuration

  1. Select Ad Type Ensure the Image tab is selected at the top of the form.

  2. Upload Graphic Creative Click the Upload Image box to open the WordPress Media Library or drag and drop your image asset. Recommended formats: .webp, .png, .jpg, .gif.

  3. Set Title (0/100 characters) Enter an identifiable internal title for your ad (e.g., Summer Sale 300x250 Banner).

  4. Configure Title & CTA Visibility Toggles

    • Hide Title Toggle: Turn ON if your graphic already contains headline text and you do not want an HTML title overlaid on the banner.
    • Hide Link Name Toggle: Turn ON if you want the entire image to be clickable without displaying a separate button/link text below it.

  5. Enter Description (Optional) Add descriptive copy or accessibility alt-text for the banner.

  6. Specify Target URL Enter the full destination landing page URL (including https://) where users should be redirected when clicking the ad (e.g., https://example.com/promo?utm_source=adfuz).

  7. Set Link Name (CTA Button Text) Enter the call-to-action button label (e.g., Get Started, Shop Now, Learn More).

  8. Select Initial Status Choose Active (ready to rotate immediately), Pending (awaiting launch date), or Draft.

  9. Click Create Ad Click the blue Create Ad button in the bottom right to save.
