How to Create a New Campaign

Creating a campaign lets you organize multiple ad banners under a unified schedule, rotation rules, and performance tracking.

To create a new campaign, go to WordPress Admin > AdFuz > Campaigns and click + Add New Campaign.

The campaign builder is structured into 3 core sections plus a status sidebar:

[ General Settings ] --> Campaign Name
[ Schedule ] --> Start Date & End Date (Date-time Pickers)
[ Ads & Rotation ] --> Add Ads (Multi-Select) + Fallback Ad
[ Sidebar ] --> Campaign Status (Active/Pending) + Create Button

  1. Define General Campaign Name Enter a descriptive name for your campaign (e.g., Summer Promotion 300x250 or Q4 Brand Awareness).

  2. Configure Flight Schedule

    • Start Date & Time: Click the calendar icon to set the exact launch date and time (dd-mm-yyyy hh:mm). If left blank, the campaign begins serving immediately upon activation.
    • End Date & Time: Set the expiration cutoff date/time when the campaign should automatically stop rotating.
  3. Attach Ad Creatives

    • In the Add Ads dropdown, select one or more ad creatives previously created in the Ads Manager.
    • Click the blue + Add button.
    • The selected ads will appear in an ordered list below.
  4. Select a Fallback Ad (Optional but Recommended)

    • In the Fallback Ad dropdown, choose a default creative.
    • If the campaign expires, encounters network errors, or exhausts its budget, AdFuz will automatically serve this fallback ad to prevent blank layout holes on your website.
  5. Set Initial Campaign Status In the right sidebar under CAMPAIGN STATUS:

    • Active: Immediately eligible for serving (provided the start date is reached).
    • Pending: Queued for future automated launch.
    • Draft: Saved without serving.
  6. Click Create Campaign Click the blue Create Campaign button to save and activate.
