How do I seed Sample / Demo data
If you are setting up AdFuz on a staging or development environment, seeding sample data helps you preview how your ad units, analytics dashboards, and campaign reporting will look without creating manual records.
What Data is Included in Demo Seeding?
Section titled “What Data is Included in Demo Seeding?”When you run the demo data generator, AdFuz provisions:
- Sample Ads: 30 active test ads as banners, video and script.
- Sample Campaigns: 17 active test campaigns across Display, Video, and Header banners.
- Sample Ad Spaces: 17 ad spaces with Standard IAB placements (Leaderboard
728x90, Medium Rectangle300x250, Billboard970x250). - Sample Creatives: High-resolution placeholder image and HTML5 ad banners.
Step-by-Step: How to Seed Demo Data
Section titled “Step-by-Step: How to Seed Demo Data”- Log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard.
- Navigate to AdFuz > Tools from the left sidebar menu.
- Locate the Data Seeder card, click open.
- Click the Seed Sample Data button.
- Confirm the action in the prompt. Wait 5–10 seconds for the database transactions to complete.
How to Remove / Reset Demo Data
Section titled “How to Remove / Reset Demo Data”When you are ready to switch your website to production:
- Log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard.
- Navigate to AdFuz > Tools from the left sidebar menu.
- Locate the Data Seeder card, click open.
- click Delete All.
- All sample records tagged as
demo_contentwill be cleanly erased from your database tables without affecting your live data.
