How to Configure Countdown Ads

Countdown Ads render a time-limited promotional modal with an active ticking clock, creating urgency for flash sales, holiday discounts, and product launches.

To configure Countdown Ads, go to WordPress Admin > AdFuz > Global Ads and click Edit Settings on Countdown.

Countdown Rule Parameters

1. Assignment & Scope

  • Ad Space: Select Count Down Ads Space (ID: 13).
  • Priority: Numerical ranking (e.g. 10).
  • Status: Active / Inactive.
  • Targeting Scope: Apply to All Pages, specific landing pages, or checkout flows.

2. Display Settings & Timer Controls

Step-by-Step Configuration Guide

Section titled “Step-by-Step Configuration Guide”
  1. Go to AdFuz > Global Ads > Countdown > Edit Settings.
  2. Verify linkage to Count Down Ads Space (ID: 13).
  3. Set Countdown Duration (seconds) (e.g. 10 seconds gives optimal conversion urgency).
  4. Enable Auto Close After Timer if you want the modal to vanish when time expires.
  5. Customize the Badge Background Color (#e53e3e).
  6. Set Status to Active and click Save Settings.
